Face-to-face workshops
Where distance and time permits, we love to travel out to schools and host our workshops in-person. We find that this is by far the most engaging means of delivery, and that our participants really benefit from the back-and-forth discussion that face-to-face sessions allow. Whilst we have attended pre-arranged careers days in the past, we find that our workshop is most successfully delivered over 2 hours, to a voluntary audience of science-minded students.

Zoom-delivered workshops
If time and/or distance are barriers to a face-to-face session, we are more than happy to deliver our presentation via Zoom or MS Teams. Whilst not our preferred method of delivery, students have told us via formal feedback that they've still very much enjoyed the session when delivered in this way. Zoom sessions also have the benefit of being easier to arrange than face-to-face sessions, in that they can more easily be accommodated within our volunteers'Â clinical practice/study schedules.

What we ask of you
Our sessions are completely free, and always will be. We raise money through public fundraising events, and as such we do not ask schools to make financial donations. However, we usually ask that schools hosting a face-to-face workshop help with printing our session materials, and prepare paper copies of our activity sheets and feedback forms for students to use on the day.
